Bruno Mars is joining the likes of Justin Timberlake and Katy Perry at this year’s iHeartRadio Festival, which takes place over two nights at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on September 20 and 21.

Bruno’s songs have been at the top of our playlists for years (“The Lazy Song” never gets old!) and he continues to impress us with his incredible vocal range and catchy tunes. We could go on and on about how great of a performer he is, but here are 5 reasons we heart Bruno Mars:
5. He Was an Elvis Impersonator at 4-Years-Old!
If this video doesn’t make you go “awww!” then we don’t know what will. This is little Bruno doing a very accurate and adorable impersonation of Elvis Presley at the tender age of 4. Clearly, he has had this talent and desire to perform his entire life!
4. He Knows How to Apologize
Bruno’s heart-wrenching ballad “When I Was Your Man” proves that this superstar knows how to admit when he’s wrong. The song documents a relationship that went awry because the crooner couldn’t fulfill his girlfriend’s desires. In the song, he wishes his ex-girlfriend well and hopes her new man treats her better than he did. This song is so sensitive and sweet!
3. He Loves His Mom
Also at 4, Bruno recorded this adorable ’80s-style ballad for his mother and it is literally the cutest thing ever! And if that wasn’t enough, as an adult, Bruno did something more permanent by tattooing her name on his shoulder. Tragically, the singer’s mother passed away this past June.
2. He’s From Hawaii
The “Treasure” singer grew up in paradise aka Hawaii … need we say more?
1. He Works with His Siblings
Bruno is the youngest of six brothers and sisters and although he’s made a huge name for himself, he still stays close with them. His brother Eric is even the drummer in his band. His sisters form the girl group LYLAS, proving that music runs in their blood.
